Fully automated washing, sorting & storage for Van Gelder

Van Gelder is a leading, hypermodern supplier of vegetables and fruits. In response to rapid company growth, Van Gelder is currently having a new complex built in The Netherlands. Viscon supplied a complete industrial washing, sorting and storage system for the crates Van Gelder is using in their warehouse processes. This solution ensures that up to 2.000 crates per hour can be sent to the production area. In the future Van Gelder will be able to increase its capacity to 3.000 crates per hour, since minor adjustments were incorporated as soon as the design phase started.

By designing a shuttle and satellite system Viscon provided Van Gelder with a fully automated buffer storage system for crates.
